I have been so busy doing four shows in a row, that I haven’t had time to show off some of my favorite earring designs. Lately I’ve been wearing the big silver moons everywhere I go. When I get done with my show this weekend, I plan on having these lovelies for sale online!

I was wandering around the River Arts District on Monday and came across these delightful mugs by Kat Johnson. Being a jeweler, I get really excited whenever I see art that references the body, particularly in new ways. You can find more of her work here

Hello 2012 show season!

My first few shows are coming up for the year already. My first one is this weekend in Macon, Ga. Followed by the Alpharetta Street Festival in April, and then the Honey Horn Art Festival in Hilton Head at the end of April. I can’t believe my days of being a little hobbit in Asheville are already over, but I’m looking forward to a wonderful new show season!

This is the beautiful place in Hilton Head where I get to show off my art!

I got to take a glass workshop last weekend at the asheville glass center. It was so fun to work in a completely new medium. I’m hoping to be able to make more shapes like these after lots of practice.
